Dr. Haider underwent extensive training and was awarded a degree from the Fellow of Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) (London, U.K.) in 2009; after which he received a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the UK in 2012. Additionally, Dr. Haider completed an Advanced Pain Fellowship at the prestigious West Yorkshire Training Scheme in the UK, where he received training from highly experienced, world-renowned pain consultants. He was awarded a Fellow of Faculty of Pain Medicine of Royal College of Anaesthetists (FFPMRCA) certificate (London, U.K.) in 2012.
Dr. Haider has been member of several medical associations, including the Faculty of Pain Medicine U.K., Royal College of Anaesthetists U.K., British Pain Society (BPS), European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA), and International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP). Additionally, he is on the editorial board of the Journal of Observational Pain Medicine and Indian Journal of Pain. He is actively involved in training and teaching pain physicians both in the U.K. and internationally.
Dr. Haider has introduced several advanced pain management techniques in the U.K., combining the newest technology with his own unique insights and experience. He was instrumental in setting up and redesigning pain services in several U.K. hospitals.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Haider worked as a consultant, anesthesia and pain management at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Haider’s scope of practice includes pain management, back pain, neck pain, sciatica, neuropathic pain, CRPS, post-surgical chronic pain, chronic joint pain not amenable to surgery, headache, facial pain, occipital nerve block, trigger point injections, spinal injections, steroid injections, radiofrequency ablation and denervation, pulsed radiofrequency, sympathetic blocks, platelet rich plasma injections, epidural, and nerve root injection.
