Dr. Alahamed has over 20 years of experience in Prosthodontics and Implantology, with extensive expertise in full-mouth rehabilitation and advanced dental implant procedures.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Virginia Commonwealth University, VA, USA, followed by Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, MD, USA. He completed his Master of Science (MSc) and Prosthodontics Residency at the University of Maryland, MD, USA, and further honed his skills through a Dental Implant Fellowship at York University, NY, USA.
Dr. Alahamed has held notable positions including Deputy Chair, Oral Health Services at HAAD, Abu Dhabi (2009–2011). His academic achievements include the Rashid Award for Outstanding Achievements (2005), Merit Scholarship from the UAE Ministry of Defense (1993–2004), multiple Dean’s List honors, and academic awards from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Alahamed served as Consultant Prosthodontist / Implantologist at Zayed Military Hospital, Abu Dhabi, Dr. AL Dental Clinic, Dubai, and Julphar Implant & Cosmetic Dental Center, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Dr. Alahamed’s scope of practice at Healthpoint includes Prosthodontics and Dental Implantology, with a primary focus on full-mouth rehabilitation, smile makeovers, guided implant surgery, and bone and soft tissue grafting.
