Dr. Almukhtar has more than 12 years of experience in Clinical Radiology.
Dr. Almukhtar obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Al-Nahrain University, Iraq. He then completed his Internship at the Ministry of Health, Iraq, followed by his Residency in Radiology and Medical Imaging at the same institution. Dr. Almukhtar has experience in diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures, providing comprehensive radiology services across multiple specialties.
Dr. Almukhtar has more than five years of experience working in prestigious JCI-accredited healthcare facilities in Abu Dhabi. He has also received advanced training in Musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging, enhancing his expertise in diagnostic and interventional radiology for complex cases.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Almukhtar worked as a Consultant in Radiology at Advanced Cure Diagnostic Center LLC, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Almukhtar’s scope of practice includes Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology, general radiology including CT and MRI procedures, ultrasound and Doppler sonography, as well as conventional and fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
