Dr. Zyada is a Consultant Anesthesiologist with more than 10 years of clinical experience in anesthesia and perioperative medicine. He brings comprehensive expertise across general and regional anesthesia, sedation services, and anesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties, with a strong focus on perioperative assessment and patient safety.
He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. He completed his Foundation Training with the Wales Foundation School, followed by Higher Anaesthetics Training through NHS England London and South-East. Dr. Zyada further enhanced his academic and clinical training with a Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Medicine with Distinction from University College London, United Kingdom.
Dr. Zyada has held several leadership and academic roles alongside his clinical practice. Prior to joining Healthpoint, he worked as Consultant Anesthesiologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, where he also served as Lead for Simulation Training in the Operating Suite and Lead for the Preoperative Assessment Clinic. His academic contributions include serving as Executive Editor and Co-founder of Case Studies in Perioperative Medicine at University College London Press, and leading national educational initiatives such as the National Perioperative Medicine Roadshow.
Dr. Zyada’s scope of practice at Healthpoint includes preoperative assessment services, regional anesthesia, sedation, and anesthesia for all surgical services.
Dr. Zyada specializes in general anesthesia, anesthesia for cancer surgery, orthopedic surgery, head and neck surgery, major trauma, and anesthesia support for radiotherapy and chemotherapy procedures.
