Dr. Mariam Shokr is a General Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in General and Family Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) degree from Dubai Medical College for Girls in 2014 and completed her internship training at the Dubai Health Authority’s teaching hospitals between 2013 and 2014.
Dr. Shokr is deeply committed to medical education and community health. She was recognized as Best Teacher for Internship Students in 2023, has published research on routine upper endoscopy before bariatric surgery in the Middle East (2018), and actively contributed to national efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic at Humanitarian City. Her dedication to public health is further reflected in her community outreach, including school-based health awareness sessions (2010, 2021, 2022) and breast cancer awareness campaigns in malls and media.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Shokr practiced as a General Practitioner at HealthPlus, and Mediclinic in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Her scope of practice includes comprehensive health assessments and screenings, primary and general medical care, as well as preventive medicine.
