Dr. Alhammadi is a highly experienced Specialist in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine with over 25 years of diverse professional experience, including more than seven years of specialty practice in anesthesia and intensive care. He brings extensive expertise across perioperative care, trauma and orthopedic anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, and pain management, with clinical privileges in Anesthesia, Critical Care Medicine, and Pain Medicine.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Southwestern University – Matias H. Aznar Memorial College of Medicine, Philippines, where he also completed his rotating clerkship. He subsequently undertook advanced training as Senior Registrar in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at Tawam Hospital, Abu Dhabi. Dr. Alhammadi further strengthened his clinical expertise with a Postgraduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Pain Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He also holds a Master of Business Administration with a major in Hospital Administration and a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Management.
Dr. Alhammadi has held several senior clinical, academic, and leadership roles throughout his career. Most recently, prior to joining Healthpoint, he served as Clinical Lead for Trauma and Orthopedic Anesthesia and Obstetric Anesthesia, and Specialist in Anesthesia and Critical Care Medicine at Tawam Hospital, Al Ain. His professional background also includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at Dar Alshifaa Hospital, Adjunct Faculty member at the United Arab Emirates University College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Faculty member at the University of Negros Occidental. He has been actively involved in medical education as a graduate thesis advisor across multiple postgraduate programs and as an American Heart Association Instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
