Dr. Omran has more than 20 years of experience in Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
Dr. Omran possesses extensive expertise in providing safe and effective perioperative care across a wide range of surgical specialties. He is highly skilled in delivering general and regional anesthesia, as well as acute and chronic interventional pain management, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and comfort throughout the surgical journey.
He earned his Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (MBBCh) from Ain Shams University, Egypt, where he also completed his internship and postgraduate training in Anesthesia and Intensive Care. Dr. Omran further advanced his qualifications by obtaining the European Diploma in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) from the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, Belgium. He also completed a University Postgraduate Diploma (Diplôme d'Université) in Principles and Techniques of Interventional Pain Management (DU PTIPM) from the University of Montpellier, France, a Fellowship in Pain Management from Daradia: The Pain Clinic, India, and the ESRA Diploma of Pain Medicine (DPM) from the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy, Switzerland. In addition, he holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Anesthesia, a Doctorate (PhD) in Anesthesia, a Doctorate (PhD) in General Intensive Care, and the Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) certification.
Throughout his career, Dr. Omran has held several leadership and academic roles. He served as the Lead of Gynecological and Obstetric Anesthesia and Lead of Interventional Fetal Surgery Anesthesia at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi. He was also a key member of the organ transplantation team and led research initiatives within the anesthesia department. He is also an Associate Professor at Ain Shams University, Egypt. His academic contributions include multiple research publications and a poster presentation at the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA) Congress 2024 in Prague. Additionally, he completed the Safety, Quality, Informatics, and Leadership Program at Harvard University, reflecting his commitment to clinical excellence and healthcare leadership.
Prior to joining, Dr. Omran served as a Consultant in Anesthesia at Burjeel Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he provided comprehensive anesthesia and pain management services for complex surgical cases.
