Dr Faris Almallah is senior consultant radiologist with sub-speciality interest in cross sectional musculoskeletal radiology, uro-radiology and skeletal and joint ultrasound scan. Dr Almallah had his basic medical training in Essex, UK and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2003. Dr Almallah is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and trained in Radiology in the West Midlands region in the UK acquiring the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2009. He did a post FRCR fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology including Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and joint injection at the centre of excellence at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust, 2008/2009.
Dr Almallah was first appointed as consultant radiologist at the West Midlands region in the UK in 2009. He led and developed the musculoskeletal Imaging services including ultrasound guided injection service at his hospital. He was selected by the European Society of Radiology for Fellowship in Cardiac Imaging at University Hospital Basel, Switzerland in 2011. On his return he established the CT Cardiac and CT Coronary Angiography service at Walsall Hospital, UK where he worked. He was a chair of the Executive Committee of BMA Birmingham Division 2016 and the Local Negotiating Committee at his Hospital.
Dr Almallah has published and presented at national and international meetings. He is very enthusiastic on service development and provision of high-quality radiology service. He is also keen on teaching and e-learning. Dr Almallah brings a high standard clinical imaging service and provides a personalised patient care with his excellent image guided injection and interventional skills.
