Dr. Hiba Elhiday is an ACGME-I certified Internal Medicine Specialist at Healthpoint Hospital.
Dr. Elhiday completed her residency program after graduating from medical school at Hamad Medical Corporation-Doha in Internal Medicine, which was an ACGME-I (accreditation council for Graduate Medical Education - United States of America - International) accredited program in affiliation with Weill Cornell University, where she was granted her Arab board specialization in Internal Medicine. She has completed a 1-year program at Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health, Harvard Medical School, in principle and practice of clinical research and is now practicing as a Teaching Assistant in the same program. Dr. Elhiday is also a member of the research committee at Amana Healthcare and one of the primary reviewers of the research ethics committee.
In her current role at Amana Healthcare, Dr. Hiba runs the outpatient clinics that include patients with chronic illnesses, effectively communicating information regarding treatments and counseling, diagnosing new medical conditions or referring them to other specialties or health professionals, if required, and effectively facilitating transitions between inpatient and outpatients’ settings and follow-ups after discharge.
