Dr. Hoseok Choi is a Korean board-certified neurosurgeon with deep expertise in advanced spinal surgery techniques. He specializes in surgical management of spinal disorders, particularly for patients with complex disc disease or spinal stenosis who have not improved with conservative treatment.
He received his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Hanyang University College of Medicine, Seoul, South Korea, in 2008. After earning his degree, he served as a military medical officer in the Republic of Korea Army for three years. He then completed his neurosurgery residency at Gil Medical Center, followed by a dedicated spine fellowship at the internationally recognized Wooridul Spine Hospital in Gangnam, Seoul, where he was honored as Best Fellow of the Year.
Following his fellowship, he practiced as a spinal neurosurgeon in South Korea, including at Wooridul Spine Hospital in both Gangnam (Seoul) and Daegu. He has continued his work in the United Arab Emirates since 2019, providing surgical solutions to patients with degenerative, traumatic, and complex spinal conditions.
Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar disc disease (e.g., disc herniation), spinal stenosis, conventional open spine surgery, microscopic and endoscopic spinal surgery, revision spinal surgery, endoscopic spine pain procedures (e.g., sacroiliac joint or facet joint rhizotomy), and spinal fusion surgery.
