Dr. Khalid holds a decade of experience in orthopedic and trauma care.
Dr. Khalid possesses solid clinical expertise in the evaluation and management of a wide range of orthopedic conditions. He is experienced in providing comprehensive patient care, including initial assessment, coordination of diagnostic investigations, and supporting both conservative and surgical treatment plans. He plays an integral role in ensuring continuity of care through effective pre-operative and post-operative management.
He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan. Following his graduation, he completed his House Officer training with the Ministry of Health in Sudan, where he gained broad clinical exposure and developed a strong foundation in patient care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Khalid has remained committed to continuous professional development. He has participated in several notable orthopedic conferences and workshops, including the 10th International Orthopaedic Surgery Conference in Sudan and the Hand Fractures and Rehabilitation Workshop in February 2020. He also attended the 13th Emirates Orthopaedic Society Meeting in the UAE in November 2025, further enhancing his knowledge of current advancements in orthopedic practice.
Prior to joining, Dr. Khalid served as a General Practitioner at Tarmeem Orthopedic and Spine Specialty Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he was actively involved in outpatient and inpatient orthopedic care, surgical assistance, and patient follow-up.
Dr. Khalid’s scope of practice at Healthpoint includes performing detailed clinical evaluations, requesting and interpreting relevant imaging and laboratory investigations, assisting in various orthopedic surgical procedures, managing pre-operative and post-operative care, and conducting outpatient follow-up clinics to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
