Dr. Abboud joined Healthpoint in 2023. She obtained her MBChB degree from Baghdad University, College of Medicine, Iraq.
She then embarked on her medical journey in the UK, where she pursued her foundation medical training and specialized in General Practice at the Health Education North West Wigan GPST Program from 2010 to 2014.
With over 12 years of experience within the UK's National Health Service, including eight years as a Family Medicine Consultant, she brings a wealth of expertise to our team after her tenure at NMC Royal Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Abboud offers a comprehensive approach to healthcare, addressing common chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, hypercholesterolemia, and COPD. Her practice includes routine annual health assessments encompassing screening blood tests, lifestyle evaluations, and personalized weight and diet counseling. Moreover, she has a strong dedication to women's health, specializing in services such as breast and cervical cancer screenings, pap smears, speculum examinations, and menopause-related care.
Dr. Abboud specializes in overseeing baby clinics, where she conducts a series of vital routine checkups for infants at six weeks, three months, and during their preschool years.
Her qualifications include being a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners UK (MRCGP UK) since 2014, along with receiving the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the same year. During her time at Pikes Lane Medical Centre in Bolton, the UK , she held the role of palliative care lead.
