Dr. Mariam Alzaabi has 20 years of experience in Dermatology.
Dr. Alzaabi possesses extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of dermatological conditions, with a special interest in inflammatory skin conditions, autoimmune and blistering diseases, and hair disorders. She is highly experienced in both clinical and aesthetic dermatology, providing comprehensive care through advanced diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the United Arab Emirates University, Abu Dhabi, UAE, and completed her Internship at Al Ain Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE. She completed her specialist training in Germany and obtained the Facharzt (German Board Certification) in Dermatology and Venereology from the Berlin Medical Association (Ärztekammer Berlin). She further enhanced her expertise in aesthetic dermatology through the Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).
Throughout her career, Dr. Alzaabi has contributed to the advancement of dermatology through clinical practice, research, and education. She is a published author, having contributed several articles to peer-reviewed dermatological journals, and has participated in international research initiatives across the field of dermatology. She has also completed numerous advanced training courses in clinical and aesthetic dermatology, complementing her German Board certification and expanding her expertise in modern dermatological treatments.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Alzaabi served as a Consultant Physician in Dermatology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Abu Dhabi, UAE, where she provided specialized dermatological care for a wide range of skin conditions.

Her expertise includes surgical excision of skin tumors, skin peeling, laser treatments, Botox injections, cryotherapy, sclerotherapy for superficial varicose veins, allergy skin testing, biological therapies, phototherapy, desensitization treatments, and dermatoscopy.
