Dr. Ayyash has nearly 30 years of medical experience, including over 20 years of specialized expertise in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Ayyash earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Lugansk State Medical University in Ukraine in 1992. Following this, Dr. Ayyash completed his specialty training in Otolaryngology at Jordan University Hospital from 1994 to 1998, where he was awarded the Higher Specialization in ENT and the Jordanian Board in Otorhinolaryngology. Further enhancing his qualifications, he pursued a fellowship in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Australia, under the Royal Australian College of Surgeons from 2003 to 2004.
Dr. Ayyash previously served as the Director of the ENT Head and Neck Oncology Service at King Hussain Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan, for a decade.
Prior to joining Healthpoint, he was a Consultant ENT and Head and Neck Surgeon at NMC Royal Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Ayyash’s scope of practice encompasses a wide range of major ENT and head & neck oncology surgeries, including total laryngectomy with primary voice prosthesis restoration, neck dissection, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy and the resection of head and neck tumors with flap reconstruction. His expertise also covers nasal surgeries such as functional endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, and turbinate surgery, as well as throat surgeries including tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Additionally, he performs ear surgeries like myringotomy with ventilation tube insertion, and tympanoplasty and mastoidectomy.
