Dr. Jagirdar joined Healthpoint in 2023. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Karnatak University, India. Dr. Jagirdar moved to the UK to pursue extensive training at a postgraduate level, to then eventually specializing in Clinical Radiology, from Yorkshire and the Humber, Health Education England.
Dr. Jagirdar has nearly 14 years of experience in clinical radiology. Prior to joining Healthpoint, Dr. Jagirdar worked as a Consultant Radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, UK. Dr. Jagirdar’s scope of practice covers general cross-sectional reporting with an interest in abdominal and pelvic imaging. This includes specialist CT colonoscopy and MR imaging of the abdomen and pelvis. He also has a specialist interest in non-vascular intervention. He was also the training program director for the foundation program for junior doctors.
Having built his expertise over the course of several years, Dr. Jagirdar specializes in a diverse range of medical fields. These include CT colonoscopy, CT/ultrasound/fluoroscopic interventions, fistulas, rectal and prostate conditions, as well as MR imaging for small bowel. His extensive knowledge and skills make him a valuable asset in the medical community.
Dr. Jagirdar's impressive list of awards and accreditations includes his membership in the Royal College of Physicians UK (MRCP UK) in 2006, followed by his status of Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2013. His commitment to excellence in the field of Clinical Radiology culminated in his receipt of the General Medical Council (GMC) Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Clinical Radiology in 2014. These accolades underscore his dedication to providing top-tier medical care and expertise.
