Dr. Prabodhan Potdar joined Healthpoint hospital in 2022 as Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in Hip and Knee surgeries. He brings with him, 12 years of rich experience from the top hospitals in Abu Dhabi and India.
Dr. Potdar earned his Masters of Surgery (M.S) in 2010 from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College & King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, one of the top medical teaching hospitals in Mumbai, India. He is ECFMG (USA) certified and has been awarded the title of Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Orthopedics. Following his keen interest in medical advancements, he has acquired multiple international fellowships in hip and knee surgery from the USA, Germany, Canada, and South Korea.
Dr. Potdar has held multiple positions including the faculty position of Assistant Professor in Orthopedics at Seth G.S. Medical College & King Edward VII Memorial Hospital from 2010-2015. He has extensive experience in teaching and has been an undergraduate teaching faculty at his university hospital.
Dr. Potdar has acquired specialty trainings & attended workshops in Orthopedics nationally and internationally. He has also participated in conferences as a speaker in the US, South Korea, and India. Additionally, he has authored & co-authored a number of research papers and book chapters which have been published in renowned medical journals.
With his vast knowledge base and extensive experience, Dr. Potdar specializes in lower limb reconstructive surgery, specifically hip & knee arthroplasty, arthroscopy & complex trauma. In his current role at Healthpoint hospital, Dr. Potdar works closely with Prof. Jonathan Conroy to develop and offer Robotic Hip and Knee surgical services.
