Dr. Sara Helmy is a Specialist Psychiatrist with more than 15 years’ experience in Psychiatry.
Dr. Sara graduated from Kasr El Aini, Cairo University, Egypt, and obtained her master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry, in 2014. She is a certified therapist for CBT and DBT, holds a special interest in trauma therapy, and is a trained EMDR therapist.
Dr. Sara has set up and supervised multiple programs for children and adolescents. This includes: a sex education program for ASD and special needs children, an ADHD program, a self-esteem program, and an anti-bullying program for children and adolescents, as well as DBT skills training groups. She has also provided parent management training to teach parents how to properly shape the behavior of children.
