American board certified in Anesthesiology. Residency training from at UT South Western Dallas & Baylor College of Medicine Houston, Texas. Baylor is affiliated with Texas Medical center, the largest medical center in the US. During residency training included rotations at Ben Taub Hospital(leading trauma center in the US), Texas children’s hospital (leading children’s specialty hospital in the US ), Methodist hospital( leading cardiovascular institute in Texas), the Veterans Affairs hospital and ICU rotation with certification in FCCS at MD Anderson Cancer centre (leading cancer hospital in the US). Apart from training interests included educational activities like simulation education and mentoring CRNAs as well as residents.
Post graduation has an extensive experience in both private and academic settings. Before moving to the UAE worked as assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and deputy Chief of Outpatient /Ambulatory Anesthesia. Helped initiate and establish state-of-the-Art McNeer Campus, dedicated for outpatient surgeries, generating high revenue for the hospital while maintaining quality and safety.
Worked as chair of department at 2 major institutes in Abu Dhabi leading many projects for patient safety & quality as well as Enhanced operational efficiency.
