Dr. Tayeed has been with Healthpoint since 2022. He previously served as the Senior Audiologist at Touch of Health Rehabilitation Center (TOHRC), Abu Dhabi. He has over 17 years of experience identifying, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring disorders related to hearing and the function and health of the ear.
Dr. Tayeed attained his Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Therapy, (BASLP), Applied Science University, Amman, Jordan, in 2005. He has a license to practice audiology and speech therapy from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as well as licenses from the Dubai Health Authority and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
Otoscopy; threshold equalizing noise test; auditory brain response; tympanometry; Weber and Rinne test; visual reinforcement audiometry; pure tone audiometry; ear impressions; hearing aid programming and follow-up; Stenger test; conditioned play audiometry; cochlear implant programming and follow-up; otoacoustic emissions; cochlear implant mapping and neonatal auditory screening.
Dr. Tayeed has international certifications that include Auditory Brain Steam Response, ABR Training (Palestine), Neonates Hearing screening (Jordan), Hearing aids fitting (Oticon company), (Morocco, Palestine), Hearing aids fitting (Phonak company), (Palestine, UAE), Cochlear implants mapping and fitting with Advanced Bionics company (Dubai, Switzerland) and Auditory Brain Stem Response Evaluation & Challenges, ABR. (Jordan).
He continues to remain updated on advances within his field by attending numerous recurring regional conferences
