Sergio joined Healthpoint in May 2022, with 13 years of professional experience in sports medicine and musculoskeletal conditions related to the foot and ankle. He has worked across a wide range of facilities, including small clinics, surgery daycare centers and large hospital corporations.
Sergio attained his master’s degree in Human Health Research from Complutense University of Madrid in and served his residency in one of the most prestigious podiatry clinics in Europe in the same University (Complutense University Clinic). Sergio is trained in regenerative-medicine treatments using biologics such as PRP and stem cells for foot and ankle conditions. He is also skilled in the use and interpretation of biomechanics labs and force plates to assess balance and gait.

Dr. Sergio’s passion is regenerative medicine interventions, as well as conducting, reviewing, and publishing research. He is also a member of the Gulf Diabetic Foot scientific committee.
